Etienne Mbappé & The Prophets

Etienne Mbappé has a bass guitar, a voice, and he’s seen the world. The places he’s traveled, the people he’s met, the colors, the flavors, the joy, and sometimes the pain—it all finds its way into his music. He has gathered around him six musicians who are just like him: Arno de Casanove on trumpet, Darius Moglia and Balthazar Naturel on saxophones, Anthony Jambon on guitar, Brice Essomba on piano and keyboards, and Nicolas Viccaro on drums. Seven voices that listen to one another, seek one another out, and find one another.
