Parage: a term from Old English referring to two people of equal standing serving the same sovereign. It is a group of artisan musicians, with a particular focus on rhythm, following years spent in New York. The music, composed by the four members of the group, often springs from the emotional power of the beat. Matured by a long shared experience and hours spent playing together, it is a complex world without ever being ostentatious.
