An outstanding percussionist and maestro of musical collaborations, he leads the jam with the joyful, collective energy that defines these unique evenings. The son of a family of musicians, he traded in his childhood piano at a very young age for the spellbinding rhythms of the world—Cuban, Brazilian, African—which he blends with infectious mischief and boundless energy.
On stage, he sets the tone, drives the improvisations, and makes hearts vibrate as much as the instruments. Whether amateurs or pros, curious onlookers or die-hard fans, everyone gets swept up in his groove, carried along by the magic of spontaneous exchanges.
The first set will be a Ronny Jordan Funk Special, a tribute to the legendary British guitarist who revolutionized jazz-funk with his unforgettable groove and spellbinding melodies. Leading this session, the percussionist will be joined by an explosive trio: Alexandre Bercut on guitar, Fred Dupont on organ, and Tao Ehrlich on drums for 100% funky energy!
