Verb

VERB is a jazz band born out of a love at first sight between three musicians during a jam session. The three musicians share a unique moment and decide to meet regularly. Rehearsals multiply and, following a residency, a repertoire entirely made up of original compositions is put together. The trio has drawn inspiration from the greatest, from Keith Jarrett's trio to Oscar Peterson, through Bill Evans or Chick Corea.

Since the band was created in 2022, they have performed in France, Belgium, and Switzerland at various festivals (Jazz à Vienne's ancient theater, Crest Jazz, Cosmojazz, Tournai Jazz, Jazz sur la plage...) and venues (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Maison de la Culture in Amiens...). VERB won the Rezzo Jazz competition in Vienne in 2023 and was a finalist in the national jazz competition at La Défense in 2025.
