Minino Garay is taking up residence at the Jass Club. For each evening, he brings together a trio and invites one or two musicians with whom he enjoys sharing the stage.
A generous and utterly passionate percussionist, Minino Garay has always drawn on the richness of Latin American music and rhythms to create a jazz language all his own.
An heir to the New York spoken word of the 1960s—the precursor to slam—Speaking Tango is the art of reciting the lyrics of popular Argentine songs rather than singing them. Jazz and tango blend with the rhythms of South American folklore, and the result is unlike anything else!
For the occasion, he is joined by pianist Cédric Hanriot and double bassist Flavio Romero, and welcomes two guests dear to his heart: bandoneonist Fabrizio Colombo and singer Julian Naranjo. An evening with the feel of a street party in Buenos Aires.
