A gathering of music legends pays tribute to the legendary singer of the 70s and 80s. After a career start marked by his highly distinctive singing style, Al Jarreau truly took off in 1980 with the album "This Time", followed by "Breakin’ Away" in 1981. Covering both jazz and pop songs, he is the only singer to date to have won a Grammy Award in three different categories: Jazz, R&B, and Pop.
Roger Biwandu is one of the most renowned drummers on the French music scene. Throughout his career, he has collaborated notably with Jacques Higelin and Biréli Lagrène, two major figures in French and European music. A highly versatile musician, he has distinguished himself both on stage and as a musical director. Alongside him, Linley Marthe, originally from Mauritius, has established himself as a bassist with a unique style, inspired by the rhythms and musical colors of his native island. Hervé Saint-Guiron, a passionate multi-instrumentalist, brings his sensitivity and his love of jazz, soul, and grand keyboards. Finally, Bruno Edjenguélé rounds out this quartet with his warm voice and stage experience, drawn from a world where jazz, soul, and groove intersect. Together, they combine talent, chemistry, and solid experience to create lively and generous music.
