Nicolas Gardel Quartet

Nicolas Gardel returns to Jazz UP Sous les Oliviers with his quartet, presenting a new autobiographical musical project in which he pays tribute to his mother and his Hispanic roots. He invites the audience on a journey through his history, spanning Europe and South America. Blending Afro-Caribbean music and flamenco, not to mention covers of Monk, Duke, and Dizzy, he has established himself as a leading musician of his generation, respectful of jazz history while knowing how to evolve it with authenticity and originality.
