For this 20th edition of the Jam Summer Festival, the Club welcomes an iconic musician whose history is deeply intertwined with this venue: Étienne Mbappé. This giant of jazz and world music has a true love affair with the Club, which began in the 1980s, and its stage, which he now knows better than anyone else after decades of music, sweat, and passion shared within its walls. His unique playing style, performed while wearing gloves, gives him an inimitable sound—a delicate touch and raw expressiveness that set him apart on stages around the world. He has left his mark on the Club’s history with bands that have achieved cult status: Rido Bayonne, Casino, Ultramarine, Chic’hot, Su La Take, The Prophets, Nec+...

Accompanying him are three musicians from the new generation: Antonin Fresson on guitar, a chameleon trained in classical and jazz, a regular on the major Parisian stages alongside Emmanuel Bex and Paco Séry; Brice Essomba on keyboards, an arranger and composer with jazz and Afro-contemporary influences; and Japhet Boristhène on drums, a native of Réunion who has become one of the most respected figures on the Lyon jazz scene after touring with Chassol, Gregory Privat, and the Saïan Supa Crew.

Together, they embody the very spirit of the jam: a musical dialogue where every note is an invitation to adventure.
