Tony Tixier Trio

Tony Tixier is a French-American pianist and composer, trained in classical piano before turning to jazz and improvisation, developing a musical identity that blends composition and improvisation. At a very young age, he performed on major stages alongside artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Marcus Miller, and McCoy Tyner, before settling in New York and becoming a permanent fixture in the international jazz scene. In 2012, he released "Dream Pursuit" with his American quartet, acclaimed by critics and named a "Revelation" by Jazz Magazine. Beyond jazz, he collaborates with Andrea Bocelli, Jon Batiste, Usher, Juliette Armanet, and DJ Deep, and works as a pianist on America's Got Talent and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He performs at iconic venues like the Blue Note NYC, Jazz in Marciac, and the Apollo Theater, and composes with his brother Scott for Janet Cardiff at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Tony Tixier develops contemporary, expressive, and accessible music there, at the intersection of jazz, pop, and international variety.
