Big Bruce and the Retro Kids is an instrumental soul/blues/funk project founded by guitarist Brice Loubet, alongside renowned musicians from the French jazz, soul and groove scenes.
Conceived as a bridge between popular music and instrumental music, the band is now developing an original repertoire drawing on soul culture, 70s groove and improvisation, with an aesthetic inspired by The Meters, John Scofield, Delvon Lamarr and Vulfpeck.
