David Adom's Jazz Jam
SWING CONCERT WITH CROONER, GUITAR AND DOUBLE BASS
Every Thursday, David Adom brings his set to Sacré Frenchy, a lively neo-Parisian brasserie in the 3rd arrondissement, just steps from Les Halles and Le Marais. Crooner, guitarist and gypsy-swing devotee, he hosts a weekly jam night here: a live set followed by an open jam where musicians and curious listeners trade standards in a warm, no-frills atmosphere. Between house-made French cooking and a chic-yet-festive setting, Sacré Frenchy turns into one of the liveliest jazz corners in Paris for one night a week.
Every Thursday night, Sacré Frenchy trades its usual buzzing brasserie energy for something a little more intimate: a proper jazz night. Located at 58 boulevard de Sébastopol, right at the crossroads of Le Marais, Montorgueil and Châtelet, this neo-Parisian address has built its reputation on pairing generous, house-made French cooking with a music program that runs jazz on Thursdays and piano-bar sets on weekends.
This is where David Adom — crooner, guitarist, and long-time devotee of French swing and gypsy jazz — hosts his weekly jam. The night opens with a live set: warm vocals, guitar, and whichever musicians happen to be passing through, before shifting into an open jam session — the kind of freewheeling “boeuf” where anyone can step up with a standard in hand and keep the night going. Regulars from the Paris jazz circuit mix with dinner guests who end up staying far longer than planned, pulled in by the room’s energy.
With its warm decor, terrace, and space to comfortably host a full table, Sacré Frenchy offers the perfect backdrop for an evening where the Great American Songbook meets the flourishes of gypsy guitar. Come for dinner, stay for the music — a night best lived the Parisian way: eating, dancing, or just listening.
