Ariana Vafadari / Gülay Hacer Toruk / Julien Carton

A Franco-Iranian singer trained at the Paris Conservatoire, Ariana Vafadari combines her oriental heritage with her passion for classical music. A mezzo-soprano with a deep timbre, she is also a composer, inventing epics of sound, between traditional music, classical and jazz, in which Zoroastrian wisdom poetically illuminates our questions today. For this evening, Ariana is joined by the soft, Turkish-flavored voice of Gülay and pianist Julien Carton, with whom she collaborates on both the classical recital and her own compositions.
