William Mendelbaum is a versatile, professional, and virtuoso jazz pianist who composes, arranges, improvises, and collaborates with other artists and art forms. He has performed on some of the world's greatest stages, including Jazz in Marciac, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Blue Note Hawaii, and Blue Note Sao Paulo, among others. His groove, improvisation, and touch of madness make his playing a unique musical experience.
William Mendelbaum, a self-taught artist, discovered his passion for the piano at the age of 12. Now a virtuoso, he has won over 50 international competitions around the world and has performed in countries such as the United States, France, Japan, and Russia as a solo pianist. He has also shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Roni Kaspi (Avishai Cohen), Justin Faulkner (Robert Glasper, Wynton Marsalis), Michael Olivera Garcia, Adam Ben Ezra, and Jean Philippe Fanfan (Sting).
A composer, arranger, improviser, and poet, he continues to captivate international audiences with his unique talent. True to his ethnic roots, he leans toward modern jazz, enriched by numerous influences closely linked to his identity—world music, klezmer, gnawa, and much more.
