A warm voice, sometimes funky but equally intimate. The music of Bai Kamara Jr is an exciting melting pot of R & B, soul, funk and jazz influences. Bai Kamara Jr, son of the former Ambassador of Sierra Leone in Brussels, was born in Sierra Leone, raised in the UK, and chose Brussels for over 20 years as its home port. He is a committed singer-songwriter/producer who shared stages with international artists like Habib Koité, Cassandra Wilson, Rokia Traoré, and supported the international 'Love Album' tour of Vanessa Paradis (25 dates) and played with Dani Klein of Vaya Con Dios. His commitment to NGOs resulted in a collaboration with the world star Youssou N'Dour invited by the UNHCR. Two songs were picked up by the Spanish director Paco Torres for the film El Vuelo Del Tren (The Magic Of Hope) A brilliant songwriter who released four albums: Living Room, Urban Gipsy, Disposable Society and This Is Home. His last has just been released "Bai Kamara Jr. presents The Mystical Survivors and The Rare Some EarthlingsVol1."
