The trio Akasha is the result of a remarkable meeting between three European Jazz musicians. Peter Hertmans, an accomplished leader, has invited the tandem Charlier/Sourisse to an 'organic' trip in the universe of his original compositions. In between the harmonic dialogues and the rythmic games, the trio deliberately takes the time to stretch on the melodies inspired by the lyrical worlds of John Abercrombie or Richie Beirach.
