Michael Chaves and Clarice Assad will meet to celebrate Brazilian music. Michael Chaves will present his show "Brazilian roots" and Clarice will share "Brazil without Borders". The beauty of the chords will shine in the memory of those who will see them on stage. Michael Chaves is one of the most talented guitarists of the new generation. He graduated from the Conservatory of Tatuí (São Paulo) in 2008; the same year, he made his first international tour through Germany. His teachers include Sérgio and Odair Assad. Clarice Assad is a Grammy-nominated Brazilian-American singer and pianist, she has been recommended by Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, and the Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra. Also a resident composer of the Albany Symphony, she won awards such as the Aaron Copland Award and shared the stage with Bobby McFerrin, Anat Cohen, Nadia Sirota and Paquito D'Rivera.
