The Rhythm Alchemy (Chemirani Trio)

Keyvan Chemirani opens his persian rhythm syntax to indians percussions influence (Prabhu Edouard, tablas) and european improvisation (with Stéphane Galland, from Aka Moon on drums). The usage of strings (Vincent Segal on cello and Sokratis Sinopoulos cretan lyra), goes beyond melody to find beauty with micro-tonal timbres. Voice is also present and carried by each of the seven instruments.
