Diego Imbert "Urban"

For many years Diego Imbert wanted to return to his first love : electric bass. The choice of his quartet's meber was therefore natural : David El-Malek (sax), Quentin Ghomari (trumpet) and Franck Agulhon (drums). But he was looking for a different sound, "bigger" could we say. He then went to Pierre-Alain Goualch (Fender Rhodes keys), Pierrick Pedron (sax) and Bastien Ballaz (trombone). Based on mesmerizing basslines, Diego Imbert's music for this project is inspired by the 70s, but the arrangements, including the four "puffed" voices, can not be more rooted in a resolutely current, dynamic, and neat artistic approach.
