At Barloyds

In 2016, the apartment of Laurent Courthaliac, aka "Barloyd", hosted the finest Parisian jazz pianists attracted by the presence, for a few months in its walls, of a sublime concert Steinway piano recently restored. From the availability of this exceptional instrument in the heart of Paris was born a series of solo recordings, published in the form of a 9CDs box by the label jazz & people: "At Barloyd's". These are the same nine participants who will come at Sunside to celebrate this adventure and the spirit of fellowship that brought them together around this piano: Pierre de Bethmann, Vincent Bourgeyx, Pierre Christophe and Laurent Coq (Friday 8th); Franck Amsallem, Alain Jean-Marie, Fred Nardin and Manuel Rocheman (Saturday 9th) and the pianist Laurent Courthaliac acting as master of ceremonies for these two evenings unmissable by lovers of jazz piano.
