Jazz Duo On The Seine

A duo of shock for the small stage of the Storyboat: the guitarist-composer Cyril Achard and the brilliant saxophonist Géraldine Laurent, many times awarded, including Victoire du Jazz 2010. Improvisation and interaction are in the spotlight in this modern jazz combining the lyricism of guitarist with the passion of the saxophonist. The duo returns tonight its collaboration already captured on the album "Visitation" (2016), a series of paintings where the melody is queen, the classical guitar bringing a delicate color to the repertoire of compositions and arrangements of jazz standards and of bossa nova (Jobim, Cole Porter, Dave Brubeck ...)
