Minjung Lee & Kaon Kim

"My Favorite Things" is the first duo album of Paris-based singer Minjung Lee and Seoul jazz pianist Kaon Kim. Primarily filled with Minjung's favorite classical songs, the album begins with the title track, a jazz rendition of the beloved show tune, and ends with a reprise composed by the singer. The album offers classical pieces from various composers and genres (Spanish, French, Korean and German art songs and Italian operatic aria), transformed into jazz with original harmonic arrangements and jazz improvisation.
