Boris Lamerand Presents"Demain Les Chiens"

This project inspired by a science-fiction novel by Clifford D. Simak, is the meeting between two improvising musicians who present a post-apocalyptic version of their instruments: a drums reconstructed from percussion elements of the world whole, an electrified violin, shaped like a dog's skull and sound altered by different guitar pedals. On the occasion of this concert, the duo expands and joins Alexandra Lanciaux on the double bass and invites English singer Pat Griffiths. For this cyber-punk jazz project, Boris Lamérand was inspired by ancient ritual music to sift through modern language.
