Dukeja

Created in 2014 the Dukeja trio composed of Kevin Devos on piano, Xavier Dambrun on double bass and Julien Bonidon on drums has forged an identity between "tradition" (Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Bill Evans ...) and modernity (Michel Petrucciani, Brad Meldheau, Robert Glasper ...). These "jazzistic" influences, fueled by numerous references to traditional Slavic, Indian and South American music, give the project a distinctive sound: mild, intimate climates alongside tasty dissonances and fiery improvisations.
