Jam Session Spéciale Chico Buarque
#PlaceAuxJeunes - Jam Session Caloé Invits…
Jam

As a Brazilian singer and composer, Chico Buarque brought, with Gilberto Gil in particular, at the end of the 1960s, a major revival in Brazilian music, a genre called Musica Popular Brasileira (MPB), resulting from the merger of bossa nova, samba, jazz or rock, while being the support of a protest expression against the power in place. Caloé sings jazz, improvises, interprets music from different cultures and writes music and words. A fervent admirer of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, she studies "scat" with precision and technique to master it in her own way. She surrounds herself one Sunday a month, excellent musicians to offer you this vocal jam and give you the desire to come and improvise with her.
