Sylvain Beuf « The Quartet »

For his third year in residency at Le Baiser Salé, Sylvain Beuf is full of projects, tries different kind of formations (from trio to quartet), with always the same exigency and the same pleasure to share with an audience, new compositions or standards. For this concert, a pianist and a contrabassist of the new generation meet two jazz maestro! Sylvain Beuf is the most rewarded and essential of our tenor saxophonists (Victoire de la musique, 2 Golden Djangos, Talent Midem) with 20 years of career with the who's who of French jazz music (Martial Solal, André Ceccarelli, Aldo Romano, the Mutin brothers, Bojan Z, Manuel Rocheman, ...). He has created the image of a quiet and modest gifted: prolix composer, inspired soloist, leader with perfect mastery and certain choices. Philippe Soirat is a pillar of the Parisian scene since 30 years, he is adventurous and participates in different musical experiences. Between his own albums, he played with Cedar Walton, Saul Rubin, Pierrick Pedron, Lee Konitz and a hundred other world-class musicians ...!
