The Milk

In 1976, four life-long friends formed THE MILK, when they were still at school. This Modern Soul Music foursome from eastern England renews the fragrant pleasures of vintage Funk and Soul to create their own sound, inspired by some of their favourite artists such as Bill Withers, Traffic and the Isley Brothers. After their debut album « Tales from the Thames Delta » and « Favourite Worry », THE MILK is back with a brand new album « Cages » (17/01/2020). If their two first albums were inspired by hedonism and introspection, “Cages” is an impassioned conversation with the world. The band says that we are the birds in the cage, tied by fake news to a limited world vision but we can all choose to challenge this view and to make a change
