Winner of the Ellington Composers competition, pianist and composer Leïla Olivesi explores new musical regions with a rhythm of travel evoking Asia, Africa and America... After collaborations with Manu Codjia, Emile Parisien, David Binney, Magic Malik, Jeanne Added and Elisabeth Kontomanou, she presents her new opus: the Andamane Suite, accompanied by the fine flower of hexagonal jazz.
Finally, here is Leïla asserting herself in a brilliant way as a composer in a field, jazz, which lives not only from the spontaneous invention of improvisation.
