Shems Bendali Quintet

In the tradition of an adventurous and open jazz, permeable to current musical aesthetics, the quintet's music takes many forms: sometimes vindictive, sometimes fragile, always inhabited. The compositions of the young trumpeter Shems Bendali, refined, lyrical or incisive, are thought of as sparks that ignite the collective play, each musician being able to nourish and guide this common musical home.
