Café Laurent 20Th Anniversary- Quartet

Gaétan Nicot, a pianist from Nantes comes to celebrate the Café Laurent 20th Anniversary, and to introduce his latest compositions he recorded this January.
For these special evenings, he chosed to be accompanied by Sébastien BOISSEAU (double bass), Pierrick MENUAU (saxophone) and Arnaud LECHANTRE (drumset).
Inspired by his "go-to" quartet (Wayne Shorter, McCoy Tyner, Joshua Redman, Keith Jarrett), and his ever lasting spiritual fathers (Hancock, Evans, Debussy, Ravel and McCoy again).

His vision for a quartet is simple; giving, sharing, celebrate, living music with changes of mood, where one plays as they would talk.
