#Cz4 Canongezenino - Jacob Desvarieux Sonny Troupé

Since the 80s, the Salted Kiss Jazz program with a big "J" and promotes cultural diversity. So we start this 4th edition of the CZ Festival with 4 musicians who carry the size and richness of Caribbean jazz. Jacob Devarieux, founder and singer of the Kassav group, does us the honor to open the festival with Sonny Troupé, young master of the gwo-ka drum, who likes to confront like Mario and Michel, tradition and modernity, Creole roots and universal aspirations, writing and improvisation. An evening under the aegis of love, sharing and joie de vivre, punctuated by furious rhythms.

The CZ Festival, a mix of artists, generations, styles, surprising and unexpected human and musical encounters, a desire to shake up the boundaries and create a parenthesis, a moment of intense and unique music under the eyes of the audience, where emotion and sincerity prevail. Everything started from the duo Canonge / Zenino 14 years ago. Since then, the 2 musicians give themselves appointments every Wednesday to improvise on jazz standards and give us an appointment once a year, on the occasion of the CZ Festival, with the cream of the musicians of today and tomorrow.
