In recent years, thanks in large part to French specialists, the accordion has begun to establish itself in the field of jazz, and has opened up new horizons. Wilfried TOUATI, passionate about melodies, is one of those explorers who, with his quartet, are inspired by both classical jazz and world music. In 2017, he decided to start composing and created his own group, honoring his favourite instrument with Xavier TROMBINI on soprano saxophone, Volodia LAMBERT on double bass and Adrien LECONTE on drums. In an aesthetic with Latin influences and a touch of free jazz, his melodies will be the starting point for trips made of lively, inventive and invigorating games, welcome in the heart of winter.
