Laurent De Wilde Duet Géraldine Laurent

Laurent de Wilde duet Géraldine Laurent
As part of the festival: French Quarter, Jazz in NYC 2020
Laurent de Wilde was born in 1960. After joining the Ecole Normale Supérieure in philosophy, he moved to New York to learn jazz piano, coming back to Paris eight years later as a professional musician. With more than 15 albums under his name (Prix Django Reinhardt, Victoires de la Musique), he has been exploring traditional acoustic jazz as well as its latest electronic revolution. He is also the author of two books (Monk, Les Fous du Son) two documentaries for Arte Channel (Monk, Mingus) and presently hosts a weekly radio show at TSF Jazz Radio. He is the producer of the last album of Géraldine Laurent, and we have the joy to hear their musical complicity on this beautiful duet.
