Nik Bärtsch & Les Percussions De Strasbourg

[PREMIERE] In the continuity of their collaborations with the world of Jazz (Andy Emler Megaoctet, Bobby Previte, Franck Tortiller Quartet...), the Percussions de Strasbourg venture into the world of Nik Bärtsch's minimalist jazz. His work is at the crossroads of contemporary music and jazz, and is nourished by influences from funk. In his music, the use of repetition and structures based on the interweaving of elements reveal the influence of minimalist music, particularly that of Steve Reich.
