Pierrick Pedron Quartet

Pierrick Pedron, one of the best alto saxophonists in French jazz, is also a talented composer with a very open musical universe, an incredible sense of implementation, beautiful phrasing and a pure, unique, immediately identifiable sound. The lyricism of his compositions, his warm sound make him an inspired soloist who has a taste for beautiful melodies.

In Tokyo, in May 2018, the “Tokyo Rome Connection” is born. The inescapable Japanese pianist Yutaka Shiina invites two European heavyweight saxophone players to his tour, in order to share new experiences around his compositions: the breathtaking Italian tenor sax Max Ionata and Pierrick Pédron, spearhead of the alto sax in the hexagon. The new quintet will chain successes in the biggest clubs and festivals in Japan and Europe.
