On August 29, 1920, in Kansas City, saxophonist Charlie Parker, aka the "Bird", was born. A revolutionary figure who will forever change the history of jazz by training several generations of musicians. A century later, the young musicians of the Zoot Collectif, born on the other side of the Atlantic, and lulled in their adolescence by the dazzling fire bird, pay him a vibrant tribute during an exceptional evening at the Sunside August 28. The young musicians of the Zoot Collectif have managed to find a place on the French scene in recent years with original and exciting projects ("Zoot Suite vol.1 & 2"). In 2019, they created with Natalie Dessay the show "Pannonica", in homage to the baroness "Pannonica de Koenigswarter", little-known and yet uplifting legend in the history of jazz, in which Charlie Parker died on March 12, 1955 ...
