  • Free entrance

At the Baiser Salé, we take advantage of the summer to spend free and festive musical evenings at the Festival Estival de Jam, from August 3 to September 2.

More than a simple concert, the jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians, to see them having fun improvising together. It is the feeling of participating in a unique moment.

One hour of concert lays the foundations and launches the theme of the evening in homage to an artist then a jam takes us until the end of the night.

A pianist of great subtlety whose playing is rooted in the roots of the blues, Wynton Kelly accompanied singer Dinah Washington, but also Lester Young, then Dizzy Gillespie, and became one of the most sought-after accompanists of the jazz scene. He collaborates with the greatest hard-bop soloists: Sonny Rollins, Cannonball Adderley, Johnny Griffin, Miles Davis ... To pay tribute to him: the award-winning composer, arranger and pianist of Polynesian origin, Carine Bonnefoy, exudes a subtle touch and through her music, makes the link between Europe and the Pacific regions. The drummer of the Lady Quartet of Rhoda Scott, Julie Saury, who for more than 20 years, has established herself as an outstanding “side woman” and the double bassist Bruno Rousselet, musician of Abd Al Malik, Marcel AZZOLA, Dee Dee BRIDGWATER, Laurent DeWilde, André CECCARELLI, Florin NICULESCU, Jean-Luc PONTY, to name a few!
