At the Baiser Salé, we take advantage of the summer to spend free and festive musical evenings at the Festival Estival de Jam, from August 3 to September 2.

More than a simple concert, the jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians, to see them having fun improvising together. It is the feeling of participating in a unique moment.

One hour of concert lays the foundations and launches the theme of the evening in homage to an artist then a jam takes us until the end of the night.

Born from crossbreeding, the music and dances of Maloya and Séga are an integral part of Reunion's heritage and of the Indian Ocean. They have never ceased to evolve over the centuries: the fusion of Afro-Malagasy contributions gave birth to maloya, while the creolization of Afro-Malagasy and European heritages gave rise to sega.

A jam with singing, dancing and flamboyant accents. Artists who combine their music, their origins and their cultures. Arnaud Dolmen is part of this new generation of musicians who perpetuate and modernize the musical heritage of Caribbean rhythms and Jerry Léonide, winner of the Piano Solo competition of the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2013, delivers phrasing and melodies tinged with African music.

The Baiser Salé, as always for almost 40 years, continues to give pride of place to mixed music and Jazz with a capital "J".
