Jam Session Tribute To Antonio Carlos Jobim

At the Baiser Salé, we take advantage of the summer to spend free and festive musical evenings at the Festival Estival de Jam, from August 3 to September 2.

More than a simple concert, the jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians, to see them having fun improvising together. It is the feeling of participating in a unique moment.

One hour of concert lays the foundations and launches the theme of the evening in homage to an artist then a jam takes us until the end of the night.

Caloé fell in love with samba and bossa-nova during a trip to Brazil in 2014, where she spent three months nourishing herself with the very rich musical culture of this country. Since then, Brazilian composers have been part of her repertoire, in which she takes pleasure in revisiting great classics and lesser-known pieces. Opening of the jam with a tribute to the great Antonio Carlos Jobim, more commonly known as Tom Jobim, who is none other than the inventor of bossa-nova!

After "Paris plage", the terraces ... comes the time to sail along rue des Lombards and enjoy the warmth of Rio's beaches.
