Clélya Abraham developed a passion for composition very early on, then concentrated around the piano. At the age of 18, she turned more particularly to Jazz, Nu Soul and World Music (Africa, Caribbean, Reunion, Brazil), styles in which she flourished thanks to the freedom given by the improvisation. Following numerous meetings during her years of study at the CRR in Paris, then at the Didier Lockwood Music Center, and after several residencies at the Baiser Salé Jazz-Club, the young pianist is at the beginning of a growing career. She performs concerts in various projects, as a leader or sidewoman (Abraham Trio, Maë Defays, Crafting quintet, Teddy Sorrès, Ora project, etc…). This third year of residency is therefore an opportunity for her to deepen her various projects, but above all to continue to explore and share new experiences, with renowned musicians ...
