Stefano Di Battista returns to the forefront, this time with a project dedicated to the composer emeritus, Ennio Morricone. The ambition is therefore significant! It is with the musicians André Ceccarelli (drums) - Frédéric Nardin (piano) and Daniele Sorrentino (double bass) that the saxophonist will shine in order to pay tribute to one of the greatest names in music, Ennio Morricone.

To say that Ennio Morricone contributed to the universe of the 7th art would be an understatement. Having made his ranges as an orchestrator and arranger at the service of the audiovisual company RAI and the record company RCA (Italy), Morricone very quickly collaborated with directors like Sergio Leone for films that have now become cult: A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966) - Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) - etc ...

More than 500 cinematographic works later and a career rewarded many times (Academy Awards, César of cinema, Golden Globes, etc ...), Morricone signed his bow last year. The time has now come for Di Battista to pay a beautiful tribute to an inspiring man with whom he had the good fortune to work.
