Jam Session Special Kurt Rosenwinkel

With his prodigious dexterity, American guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel (born 1970) has made a name for himself on the jazz scene since his debut in 1990. As a member of the Human Feel and the Paul Motian Electric Bebop Band, he has participated in a large number of sessions (more than sixty, from Brad Mehldau and Joshua Redman to the rapper Q-Tip) and has recorded a number of albums under his own name, where creativity is combined with virtuosity in a relaxed manner. The Next Step (2001), Heartcore (2003) and Our Secret World (2010) are among the Berlin-based musician's most successful albums.

No problem for these young musicians invited by François Constantin and full of energy. On the solid, and even more so, rhythmic base with Tao Ehrlich on drums and Antoine Vidal on bass, thanks to the harmonic presence of Auxane Cartigny on keyboards, Tom Ibarra on guitar for a fantastic performance alternating between violence and softness, energy and emotion.
