Clélya Abraham is the jazz pianist with Caribbean influences to follow absolutely!

For this new date of residence, she will not highlight one of her projects but one in which she officiates as a pianist and whose musicality is particularly close to her heart. She invites the guitarist Teddy Sorres, for a concert halfway between Jazz and the rhythmic colors of traditional Maloya.

Teddy Sorres sums up his musical inspirations to show us his interpretation of jazz-maloya. Among the groups and artists of this fusional universe that he likes, we find Sabouk, the pianist Meddy Gerville who is undoubtedly the one who decided him to borrow this musical style, the flautist Christophe Zoogonès, the harmonicist Olivier Ker Ourio... The conjugation between maloya and jazz established by the young artist reflects what he wishes to offer to the public: to create links, to bring a cultural mix through his compositions, and to bring closer the borders by these two styles of music so far apart . #BeCurious
