Jam Session Special Michel Camilo

At the Baiser Salé, we take advantage of the summer to spend free and festive musical evenings at the Estival de Jam Festival, from July 17 to September 2, 2021, every evening from 9:00 p.m. More than a simple concert, the jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians, to see them having fun improvising together. It is the feeling of participating in a unique moment. One hour of concert lays the foundations and launches the theme of the evening in homage to an artist then a jam takes us until the end of the night.

Host of Monday night jam sessions for almost 30 years, François Constantin has invited the entire hexagonal jazz scene to perform alongside him and has made this weekly meeting an internationally known institution. Exceptional percussionist, undisputed expert in salsa rhythms, leader in search of research and constant renewal, he is also an in demand sideman (France Gall, Michel Berger, Johnny Hallyday, Véronique Sanson, Richard Bona, Manu Katché ...)

For this jam, he invites 3 regulars of the #JamDeTousLesJazz since their beginnings: Vincent Bidal, pianist of Ayo, Mokhtar Samba or even Catia Werneck; Francis Arnaud, drummer with an unstoppable groove and Swaëli Mbappé, sideman of Mayra Andrade, young bass player in full rise in his personal projects like the hard-hitting Monsieur Mâlâ, group from our #jazzdedemain scene.

So no hesitation, 2 days of jamming to fill your eyes and ears and come and compete, in a Latin-jazz atmosphere, with its 3 regulars at the club!
