#Jazzdedemain - Cynthia Abraham

Guided by the idea that the voice is an instrument in its own right, Cynthia Abraham seeks to put her voice at the service of music. A fan of Bobby Mcferrin, Camille, Take 6... she explores the voice in all its aspects: play mode, vocal loops, body percussion, it is an instrument in its own right that also has the power to speak. She interprets her compositions with sincerity, in search of another complicity with the public. Her latest album, "Unisson", (October 2021) develops her multi-instrumentalist facet: voice, percussion, flute, an invitation to live fully in the present moment.
"If unison is the simplest chord, it is also the most powerful".
It is in the company of Anthony Jambon that she offers us a repertoire combining covers and compositions. The young guitarist with his crystalline playing, sideman (Laurent Salzard, Cynthia Abraham) and leader (Anthony Jambon Group) made his debut at the Baiser Salé.
