Pianist and composer Pablo Murgier was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a soloist, with his ensemble or with the different projects he integrates, he explores the intersection between chamber music, jazz, tango and popular music of Latin America. This quartet with Minino Garay on percussion, Romain Lecuyer (Ute Lemper's double bass player) and Simone Tolomeo (bandoneon player of Los Milonguitas) was crowned winner at the First World of Tango Orchestra in Buenos Aires (Premios Tango Sin Fin) and was nominated in 2018 for the PREMIOS GARDEL as Best New Artist.

A figure of an unclassifiable and eclectic music, Minino Garay, 20 years after his migration to France, seems more than ever linked to the pulse of his mythical pampa. The percussionist - the most vital drummer of his generation who still bears his childhood nickname (meaning paradoxically "small") - never ceases to draw on his origins: the Ayacucho district of Cordoba, Argentina's second largest city, some 8000 kilometres from Buenos Aires.
