Tribute To Henri Salvador
moderated by Caloé
Henri Salvador was a music lover with multiple careers, a comedian, then a soldier and finally an outstanding singer, and is listed in the Jazz Dictionary! He founded the "Disques Salvador" and "Rigolo" labels, sang "Une chanson douce", befriended and composed with Boris Vian in particular. The Baiser Salé is transformed into a "Winter Garden" for a jam hosted by Caloé, one of the most delightful revelations of recent seasons according to Jazz Magazine! Caloé sings jazz, improvises, interprets music from different cultures and writes music and words. A fervent admirer of Ella Fitzgerald, she studies scat with precision and technique to master it in her own way. Always surrounded by excellent musicians, she performs in France and abroad. Caloé has played in many places such as the Tribeca Arts Center in New York, the Zinco Jazz Club in Mexico City, the Cosmopolitan Hall in Oslo, the Fashing Jazz Club in Stockholm and various European festivals.
