#Jazzdedemain - Hugo Corbin

With his first album "Inner Roads", Hugo Corbin develops a vibrant and melancholic universe, sketching out soaring and driving soundscapes. Open and multi-inspired, his music is influenced by the sound of the ECM label for the contemplative atmospheres, space and resonance, and by rock for the more saturated textures and the use of effects. For this date, Hugo Corbin invites Monika Kabasele, the young singer of Greek-Congolese origin, and the double bass player Marc Buronfosse. They communicate through the language of jazz and improvisation and together create their own universe, driven by freedom of expression. On the programme, jazz standards, original compositions and covers of their favourite pieces, in French, Greek, English and Portuguese!
