Simon Chivallon Trio

A new talent of French jazz, Simon Chivallon released his first trio album last March, Light Blue. Passing with equal happiness from Monk to the Beatles, from Gabriel Fauré to Georges Brassens, the pianist assumes his love of melody and unveils, during his concerts, a series of personal compositions that do not lack character.

For his first trio, Simon Chivallon chose bassist Nicolas Moreaux and drummer Antoine Paganotti, the companions he needed. Two experienced musicians, rooted in the culture and the practice of jazz, whose calm temperament and uncontested musicality were going to allow him to develop in a fluid way and put his first steps in the formula of the trio that he intends to explore «his whole life».
