Louis Matute Large Ensemble

Louis Matute is a young musician brimming with energy and appetite. For several years, he has been at the head of his own group which draws inspiration from the most current forms of jazz by integrating elements of Latin American music. There is in this project a desire to transcribe the beauty and violence of this world through music with which they write the story of their own folklore. Their latest album How Great this World Can Be released in 2020 was widely praised by the press in Switzerland and France. Accompanied by the new generation of Swiss jazz musicians, there is no doubt that the Genevan has everything to build a solid career.
