Sensual groove in a perpetual quest for a perfect sound finding its coolness as well in jazz as in hip hop, R&B and neo-soul. Students of the USC Thornton School of Music's jazz studies program in Southern California, the three talented multi-instrumentalists of Moonchild have thus made an enviable place for themselves within the US jazz hop scene. Relaxed funky bass line, dreamy keyboard melodies and atmospheric brass, Moonchild always looks to the stars to chisel his voluptuous groove! Noticed very early by the greatest for his virtuosity, his rich and dynamic compositions and his melodic lines, Tom Ibarra was very quickly programmed in national and international festivals. He shared the stage with Didier Lockwood and Sylvain Luc in 2015, Marcus Miller in 2016, Richard Bona in a showcase at NAMM in 2017 in Los Angeles and Kamasi Washington and Anderson Paak in 2019 during an improvised jam session on the Baiser stage.
